Our journey began with the acquisition of a stunning lagoon in a prime area known for its turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs.
Through careful planning and ecological shaping, the site has evolved into an 8.7-hectare private island designed to exist in harmony with its natural surroundings. Ideally situated just 25 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport, the island offers both accessibility and seclusion, an ideal foundation for a world-class destination.
The resort is being developed in collaboration with Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, one of the Maldives’ premier luxury hospitality groups recognized for its exceptional management expertise and commitment to delivering refined guest experiences. It will feature 101 villas, an assortment of deluxe villas, family villas, and VIP villas, both overwater and beachfront. The architectural concept, designed by Peia Associati in Milan, reflects timeless sophistication, blending contemporary design with natural materials, sustainable construction methods, and a deep connection to the island’s landscape and rhythm.
The experience will be elevated by a range of world-class amenities, including distinctive specialty dining concepts, an Infinity bar & lounge overlooking the ocean and sunset, an infinity pool, an overwater gym, and a marine and leisure center offering a wide variety of ocean-based activities. Additional facilities such as luxury boutiques, elegant lounges, gardens, hydroponic farms providing fresh, sustainably grown produce, a tennis court, and a Kids’ Center will complete the guest journey, creating a seamless balance between privacy, leisure, and refined comfort.
Anchoring the resort’s philosophy is the Wellbeing Sanctuary, the defining feature of the island and a destination in itself. The Sanctuary unites two complementary pillars, The Healing Center and the ELENA Spa, each designed to nurture mind, body, and soul through distinct yet harmonious approaches. Entirely powered by clean green energy, the Sanctuary embodies our commitment to sustainability and mindful living.
The Healing Center will focus on holistic health and transformation, integrating modern wellness science with traditional healing, mindfulness, and energy-based practices to promote balance and renewal. Envisioned as a tranquil haven with multiple spaces dedicated to personalized therapies, consultations, and restorative treatments, it will also feature state-of-the-art wellness technologies designed to support regeneration, vitality, and inner harmony. The ELENA Spa will offer a complete sensory journey through bespoke treatments, advanced therapies, and Ayurvedic rituals, inspired by global wellbeing traditions and delivered within a collection of beautifully designed treatment suites that evoke calm and renewal.
Complementing these spaces, the Sanctuary will include two Yoga Pavilions, one set within lush gardens and another suspended over the lagoon — along with a wellness pool, relaxation lounges, a conscious eating restaurant and bar, and tranquil areas for meditation & reflection.
